Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to chai.vet (the “Service”), operated by Unitt Media, LLC (“Unitt Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

THE SERVICE WILL BE SECURE;
THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS;
CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR RELIABLE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNITT MEDIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

UNITT MEDIA’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100); OR
THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO UNITT MEDIA DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unitt Media, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

Your use of the Service;
Your User Content;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

Force Majeure

Unitt Media shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, labor disputes, governmental actions, or failures of third-party providers.

Governing Law and Arbitration

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Vermont under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree that disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class action or representative proceeding.

Either party may seek relief in small claims court for qualifying claims or seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

If you reside in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections, those protections remain applicable to the extent required by law.

Arbitration Limitations

Where applicable law prohibits mandatory arbitration or class action waivers for consumers, such provisions shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time.

Material changes will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines constitute the entire agreement between you and Unitt Media regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements and understandings.
